Last weekend, my school held a Halloween party. It was the first time I attended such an event and I was very excited. Halloween is a traditional holiday in Western countries and it is becoming more and more popular in China.

The party was held in the school gymnasium, which was decorated with spooky decorations like jack-o'-lanterns, fake spider webs, and bats hanging from the ceiling. Everyone was dressed up in costumes, ranging from witches and vampires to superheroes and princesses. I dressed up as a zombie and had fake blood and scars on my face. My friends and I had so much fun getting ready for the party.

During the party, there were various activities for us to enjoy. We played games like bobbing for apples, where we had to catch an apple with our teeth without using our hands. It was challenging but hilarious to watch. We also had a costume contest, where the best-dressed students won prizes. I didn't win, but it was still fun to see everyone's creative costumes.

One of the highlights of the party was the haunted house. It was set up in a classroom and was filled with spooky decorations and surprises. We had to walk through the dark and scary rooms, trying to avoid the ghosts and monsters that jumped out at us. It was both scary and thrilling, and we couldn't stop screaming and laughing.

The Halloween party was a great opportunity for us to have fun and learn about different cultures. We got to experience the excitement and traditions of Halloween, and it was a memorable event for all of us. I can't wait for next year's party!

The Halloween Party

Yesterday, I attended a Halloween party at my friend's house. It was my first time celebrating Halloween and I had so much fun.

When I arrived at my friend's house, I was amazed by the decorations. The entire house was covered in spooky decorations like cobwebs, skeletons, and pumpkins. There were also orange and black balloons everywhere. It felt like I had entered a haunted house.

All the guests were dressed up in costumes. There were witches, ghosts, superheroes, and even a few zombies. I dressed up as a vampire and had fake fangs and blood on my face. My friends and I spent hours picking out our costumes and doing our makeup. It was so exciting to see everyone dressed up and ready for the party.

During the party, we played games like "Pin the Tail on the Witch" and "Musical Chairs." We also had a pumpkin carving contest. I had never carved a pumpkin before, but with the help of my friends, I made a spooky face on my pumpkin. It was messy but so much fun.

We also went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. We knocked on doors and said, "Trick or treat!" Some people gave us candy, while others played tricks on us. It was a thrilling experience, going from house to house and collecting candy.

At the end of the party, we had a costume parade. We all lined up and walked around the backyard, showing off our costumes. It was so cool to see everyone's creativity and effort. My friend won the best costume award for her amazing witch costume.

The Halloween party was a blast and I can't wait to celebrate it again next year. It was a day filled with laughter, games, and lots of candy. I learned so much about Halloween and its traditions. It was an unforgettable experience and I'm grateful to my friend for inviting me to the party.

　　On the evening of Oct.31, I came to Shane school and joined the Halloween party. I was wearing cat ears, a red bow tie and a cat tail, looked like a pretty and lovely cat.

　　Luke is our English teacher from Australia. He lead us to play some games together. The “trick of treat” is our favorite game. We went to the supermarket and sang a song “trick of treat, trick of treat, happy Halloween, happy Halloween, I want candy, I want candy, please give me, please give me!” Put our hands out and sing loudly till we have a lot of candies.
